Nurse Aide II (NA II)

NA II Employment Verification

A Registered Nurse from the same agency where the Nurse Aide II is/was employed must complete the online Employment Verification and validate that the Nurse Aide has performed nursing care activities for monetary compensation within the past 24 months for at least 8 hours under the direct supervision of a RN.

The following information is required to complete the Nurse Aide II Employment Verification:

  • A valid unencumbered RN License 
  • The Nurse Aide II listing number

The NC Board of Nursing’s electronic database serves as the primary source of licensure information for nurses (including APRN) and NA IIs in North Carolina. Electronic verification of licensure status can be accessed here
